AirVentions CEO Spencer Irvine commented on this week’s incident at Dulles Airport involving a Southwest Airlines employee: “I am deeply saddened to learn the news (Washington Post) of the accident at Dulles which resulted in the loss of a worker involved in ground support operations. Our prayers are with him and his family.  Having personally worked on the tarmac at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport, I am keenly aware of the safety challenges involved in daily activities.  This unfortunate incident is a another learning and reminder for all of us at AVI.  Further, it strengthens our resolve in the work we are doing.”
